Valentine’s Day
In Chinese, there is an idiom: “飞蛾扑火” (fēi é pū huǒ), which literally means “a moth flying into a flame.” It is often used metaphorically to describe a lover’s persistent and passionate pursuit of love, even in the face of inevitable suffering or consequences. Despite encountering hardships, they refuse to give up, much like a moth drawn irresistibly to the light, even at the cost of its own life.
